Navigate to Amazon Reviews Integration
Amazon Marketplace Web Service (Amazon MWS) is an integrated Web service API that helps Amazon sellers to programmatically exchange data on listings, orders, payments, reports, and more. By enabling MWS access to your Amazon store we can collect Amazon seller feedback for you. Your seller rating and feedback score are key metrics used by Amazon to determine who wins the Buy Box. Sellers with consistently stellar customer service and seller ratings can typically win the Buy Box at higher prices and profit margins than competitors with lower feedback scores.
To get started with Amazon review integration, it is essential that you have the following:-
Amazon MWS developer access
Amazon MWS developer access is not granted to all sellers so please ensure you have this in place before you attempt to integrate with Amazon.
Setting up Amazon
In a new tab, sign in to your Amazon Seller Central account.
Click on Settings >> User Permissions
Under Amazon MWS Developer Permissions click Enable Developer Access
this will trigger confirmation email to your configured Amazon email address.
Once your email has been verified you should be able to obtain the required information, make a note of your credentials as you'll need to copy and paste them into the setup form below.
If you cannot Enable Developer Access then you may not have this available to you within your Amazon account. If this is not available then you will need to apply for an Amazon Developer Account through Amazon in order to set up the integration.
In the 'Your Account Information' section, locate your Merchant ID and copy and paste it into the field.
Select which marketplace your store operates in.
Under 'Current Authorisations' click 'View your credentials' and then copy and paste your AWS Access Key ID into the field.
With the "Your Developer Account Information" modal still open, click 'View' to reveal your Secret Key and then paste it into the field.
Now determine your MWS Service URL, this will depend on the geographic marketplace in which your store operates. e.g. https://mws.amazonservices.co.uk, https://mws.amazonservices.com, https://mws.amazonservices.ca.
Next we need to know the collection URL for customers to leave a review. This will depend on the geographic marketplace in which your store operates with the added path '/feedback' so for a UK store you'd use https://www.amazon.co.uk/feedback.
Now we need the URL for your stores Amazon seller page where customers can review your collected feedback.
Click Setup to Complete
That's all the details we require to get set up, click the button below and then head down to the 'Email Integration' steps that will allow us to send emails directly to your Amazon customers.
You now need to allow Reviews to send email via your Amazon account, otherwise Amazon will block us from being able to contact your Customers.
In Seller Central click on 'Messages' in the top right corner.
Under 'Links' select 'Authorised Emails'
Add the following email address 'firstname.lastname@example.org'
