Reviews.io gives you unprecedented control over your online reputation by allowing your business to actively choose where reviews are written. Our research has shown that your customers will find your brand on multiple channels. That's why we've developed the world’s first review collection and monitoring platform that not only gets you stars next to your Adwords (seller ratings), but also on other review platforms including Google, and Facebook.
Reviews need to be everywhere and accessible to everyone. No longer are businesses able to rely on just one review platform to display all their reviews. Your customers expect you to have a consistent review profile beyond a single platform.
Implementing Local Reviews
Log in to Reviews.io
Navigate to Reviews Setup >> Advanced >> 3rd Party Reviews Setup
If you have connected any of your local review channel accounts, you will see a banner stating your customers will now be leaving reviews at Reviews.io or at one of your selected local review channels. You are also prompted to optionally create a Local Review Invitation. It is not necessary to create one in order to collect local reviews (although we would highly recommend it to make your invitation more personaised), and if you do not, your Company Review Invitation will be used instead.
Review Invitation Distribution
It's possible to choose the distribution of your review invitations by percentage across Reviews.io and local sites, by moving the handy slider from left to right.
If you send 200 Review invitations in a set period of time and choose to distribute 60% of them to Reviews.io and 40% to local sites, then a total of 120 invitations will be sent directing your customers to Reviews.io, and 80 invitations directing your customers to local sites.
We direct your user traffic to third party platforms in the proportions that you set on this page. Please note, Reviews.io has no control over user action once they arrive at the third party site. Some third party sites require customers to create a profile in order to write a review. Reviews.io has no way to determine if your customer has a profile with any third party. These factors may influence your review collection rate on these platforms.
Reviews written on Reviews.io cannot be posted to other platforms, and reviews written on other platforms cannot be posted to Reviews.io. Each Review invitation sent is good for one customer review on one platform. Google does not tolerate duplicated review content across multiple platforms.
