In-store Review Collection - iPad

Collect company reviews using an iPad in your store or on-site.  The in-store app is great for any customer-facing business and allows quick review collection on the spot.

In-store reviews are beneficial to a whole host of sectors, big and small. Companies using the In-store app can make the most of their foot traffic in their brick-and mortar stores, helping to boost their review rates and response conversion.

Our app is also vital for tradesmen who are less likely to collect customer emails after a purchase.

The app is also helpful for those who don't see as many returning customers, thus can't afford for some reviews to slip through the net.

Additionally, the In-store app can be downloaded on multiple iPads across different branches for you to then compare store performance. This comparison can offer great feedback on areas which need improvement, such as customer service, as well as highlight stores which are being praised from the rooftops, to enable you to give credit where credit's due.

We have two versions of our In-Store review collection app. One is a native iOS app for iPads, and the other is a browser based solution. We would encourage you to use the iPad version if possible.

How it works

The in-store app is an iOS native app for iPads only, that you can offer to your customers to write reviews while you are with them.  It is designed to be used as a terminal which can either be handed to your customers or installed as a terminal, usually next to your checkout area.  The process is simple - watch the video below to see the review-writing process.


Getting started

  • From the prompt, choose to launch the In-Store Collector.

  • Add the name of the location which you are currently located.

  • Once you are set up, the customer-facing app will appear.  Install your iPad in the location you wish to use it or keep it available to hand to your customers.

Writing Reviews

The review writing process is simple.  Customers are first presented with a screen from which they can choose a rating for your business.

The customer should then add a comment to their review on the next screen.

The customer should add their name, or they can leave blank to publish an anonymous review.

For review verification, all customer are required to enter their email address.

Once the customer has entered their email address or phone number to leave their review in-store, they are sent an email or SMS asking them to activate their review. When the customer clicks this button, their email is matched to a digital fingerprint which verifies their review.

In-store Review Collection - Browser Based

If you do not have an iPad you can use the browser-based method of in-store review collection.  For this method to work, you'll need to contact us to activate your in-store app collection, providing us with some information including your company logo.  Please contact us on our sales or support line and explain that you wish to use the non-iPad version of the in-store app, and our team will assist you.


Can I collect product reviews using the In-store apps?
The in-store app is used solely for the collection of company reviews. It does not collect product reviews.
