How to import reviews from your previous provider.

πŸ“© Reviews can be imported into REVIEWS.io provided they meet our guidelines for importing. Our dedicated review import team analyses each file submitted and assesses whether they are fit for importing on a case-by-case basis and meet very strict guidelines around duplicate content.

Requirements

⭐️ Available on Start-Up plans & above (excludes Shopify free & trial periods)

Note: This can take up to 14 business days, all review imports should be sent to support@reviews.io with Subject Line 'IMPORT'.

Please specify whether these are product or company reviews and what platform they were collected on.


Requirements For Importing Reviews.

Company review import template example:

πŸ“© In order to import company reviews, the following columns in a CSV file will be required:

Date

Name

Email

Order ID

Star Rating

Comment

🏷 Tags

Additionally:

πŸ—“ The preferred date format would be d/m/y

⭐️ Star Ratings must also be on a scale of 1-5 and not include 0.5 ratings.

Note: Due to Google guidelines we will only be able to import company reviews as 3rd party reviews. If your import file fails to meet the above criteria please contact us on Live Chat or support@reviews.io


Product Review import template example:

Date

Name

Email Address

Order ID

Star Rating

Comment

SKU

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Tags

  • Location

  • Review Titles

  • Replies

  • Attributes (You need to set up the attribute questions within the dashboard before we can import these. You can learn how to do this here)

Note: If you have sent a product review file to be imported, please ensure you have added a product feed or installed a reviews plugin that will enable us to access your product feed.

The SKU column must be present and populated with product SKUs (Unique Identifiers) that match your product catalogue in: https://dash.reviews.io/products/list


Q&A import template example:

How to Export Your Reviews From Your Previous Review Platform

Exporting Reviews From Trustpilot

  • Due to Trustpilot's ownership of your review data, once exported, please contact our customer success team for instructions on how these can be imported, or alternatively use the live chat in the dashboard for further assistance.

  • If there are product reviews on the file, be sure that an SKU column is present and matches that in your REVIEWS.io product feed.

  • Please Note: Due to Trustpilot's ownership of your review data, once exported our support team will need to run your file through a special importer that will send all the reviewers in that file a special request asking them to verify your review and allow us to post it on our platform this will avoid any issues with TP's guidelines.

Exporting Reviews From Yotpo

  • If there are product reviews on the file, be sure that the SKU column is present and matches that in your REVIEWS.io product feed.

Exporting Reviews From Judge.me

  • If there are product reviews on the file, be sure that the SKU column is present and matches that in your REVIEWS.io product feed.

Exporting Reviews From Feefo

  • If there are product reviews on the file, be sure that the SKU column is present and matches that in your REVIEWS.io product feed.

  • Your product comments will convert into the respective product reviews while your service comments will become third party reviews.

Exporting Reviews From Loox

  • If there are product reviews on the file, be sure that an SKU column is present and matches that in your REVIEWS.io product feed.

Exporting Reviews from Trusted Shops

Unfortunately, Trusted Shops do not facilitate the ability to export all collected reviews via their Dashboard. Please contact the Trusted Shops team and request a full export of your reviews in CSV format. They will usually provide this export within 24-48 hours.

Exporting Reviews From Stamped.io

  • If there are product reviews on the file, be sure that an SKU column is present and matches that in your REVIEWS.io product feed.

Exporting Reviews From Bigcommerce

  • If there are product reviews on the file, be sure that an SKU column is present and matches that in your REVIEWS.io product feed.

Exporting Reviews From Shopify Product Reviews

  • If there are product reviews on the file, be sure that an SKU column is present and matches that in your REVIEWS.io product feed.

Exporting Reviews From Maropost

  • In order to export your reviews from Maropost, you will need to contact Matopost to request an export file. Be sure to request SKU alongside your products to ensure the file is submittable for import.

We cannot import your Google reviews and various 3rd party reviews. However,

we also integrate with a variety of 3rd party review platforms using our Local Reviews Bolt On, more information can be FOUND HERE.
