Instead of moderating a review, sometimes it may be beneficial if the issue has been resolved to request they revise this instead.

To send a revision request, you will need to be logged into your account and will need to be within your timeline.
Instructions โ๏ธ
You will need to go into the specific review that you would like to send a revision request for.
From here, click the โAsk To Reviseโ option shown just below the review ๐
Ask to Revise emails can not be sent for moderated reviews. If you would like to send a revision request for a moderated review then you would need to unmoderate this first.
Ask to Revise emails can also not be sent to customers who have not left an email address alongside their review. This most likely happens when a customer reviews via an SMS invitation and chooses not to leave their email address.
After clicking 'Ask to Revise' you will see a pop-up where you can customize the Subject line and the message the customer will receive in the email.
Once you are happy with your subject and message, you can confirm the email and click 'Ask To Revise Review'.
After this, you will see a green box in the right top corner confirming that this has been sent successfully.
This may take a few moments to send to the customer's email inbox, and they may need to check all inboxes, including Spam/Junk folders, just in case they have been directed here due to their email settings.
The customer will then receive an email like below if you are using our default message. If you have customized this, then the updated message will be displayed in replacement of the default one ๐
When the customer clicks into the 'Revise Your Review' link, they will be taken to the Collector Page where they can leave their updated review.
Once submitted, this will replace the original review within your account but may take up to an hour to update.
You can also check whether the review has been revised by going into the review from the account timeline and if the review has been revised, this will show as the 'Collection Method' like below:
