How to use REVIEWS.io specific events/attributes in your Insider segmentation

Integrating REVIEWS.io with Insider allows you to sync information from Reviews, Questions and Surveys into Insider's customer data platform to be used in Segmentation & Campaigns

To locate the Insider Integration page, please navigate to Integrations > Insider

Instructions βš™οΈ

Installation

First, you will need to locate your partner name. Head to your Insider dashboard and navigate to Settings -> Inone Settings -> Account Settings. Your partner name will be the name in lower case at the top of the panel, in the below screenshot it is called reviewsiosandbox. You can press the copy to clipboard icon next to it and paste it into the Partner Name section


Now, you need to locate your API keys. To generate an API Key that can be used for REVIEWS.io you must first navigate to Settings -> Inone Settings -> Integration Settings and scroll to the bottom of the page to the section API Keys. Once here, click on Generate API Key πŸ‘‡

Once at this menu, make sure to select a Unified Customer Database key and press next. You will then be prompted with your generated API Key, make sure to copy this πŸ‘‡

After you have both Partner Name and your API Key you can insert them in the Settings section here and press Save Credentials, this will then complete your Insider installation!


Events

The events that can be pushed to Insider can be toggled when the connection has been made between REVIEWS.io and Insider πŸ‘‡

Send Company Reviews

Send Questions

Send Survey Responses

Rating Settings:

Send Positive Reviews

Send Negative Reviews


Events within Insider

Within your Insider dashboard, navigate to Audience > User Profiles

Here, you can identify which events have been triggered by your customers. In the example below the reviewer has submitted a positive company review and responded to our attribute question: Was your Experience Positive?

When creating a Segment, our Custom Attributes will be available in Segments. In the example below select the Standard Option and then Attributes:

Using the Segment drop-down, you will find any events that have been pushed to Insider since making the connection with REVIEWS.io.

The segment created is identifying any users with a Combined Total Review Average of 4. This can then be used in Scenarios to filter specific customers.

Another way of using REVIEWS.io with Insider is using Attributes in Segmentation. This next segment created is using specific Attribute Questions. More information on attributes can be found here πŸ‘ˆ

Here, Question 1222 for our example is a question on the customers height and is identifying any users that have responded with the multiple choice response of 6'5"
