If you need to stop or restart review invitation sending at scale — or if something is blocking all your invitations from going out — this guide covers how to manage invitations in bulk and fix the most common account-level causes.
Pausing invitations in bulk
To pause a large number of active invitations at once:
Go to your Invitation History
Filter by Status: In Progress to show only queued invitations.
Tick the Select All box to select every invitation on the current page.
Click Pause to pause all selected invitations.
Move to the next page and repeat — Select All applies per page, so you'll need to work through each page separately.
Pausing an invitation stops the email from being sent. The invitation stays in your history and can be resumed at any time — it won't be deleted or lost.
Resuming paused invitations in bulk
To restart paused invitations:
Go to Invitation History
Filter by Status: Paused to show all paused invitations.
Select the invitations you want to resume.
Click Resume — this restores their queue position and restarts delivery.
Note: not all paused invitations can be resumed. Some are paused for reasons that prevent resending — for example, if the recipient has unsubscribed (GDPR prevents sending to opted-out contacts) or if the invitation is overdue by more than 4 weeks. Hover over the Paused status for each invitation to see the specific reason.
Pausing all sending at the account level
Rather than pausing individual invitations, you can pause sending for your entire account — useful if you're making changes to your templates or flow and don't want any invitations to go out in the meantime.
When sending is paused at the account level, all queued invitations will stay In Progress until you manually resume sending. Check your invitation settings to toggle account-level sending on or off.
Why all your invitations might be blocked
If invitations aren't going out at all — even ones that appear to be In Progress — one of the following account-level issues is usually the cause.
Monthly email limit reached
When you hit your monthly invitation limit, sending is automatically paused for the rest of that billing period. Invitations that were already queued won't be lost — they'll send once your limit resets or you upgrade your plan. To check your current usage and upgrade if needed, go to your plan settings in the dashboard.
Trial accounts are limited to 25 invitations regardless of plan. If you're on a trial, this is the most likely cause.
Domain not verified
If your business domain is not email-verified, invitations cannot be sent. This will silently block all invitation sending with no obvious error in Invitation History.
To check: go to your dashboard homepage and look for a domain verification warning. If one is shown, follow the on-screen steps to complete verification. Once your domain is verified, queued invitations will resume automatically.
Billing issue on your account
Missed or expired payments will prevent invitations from sending. Ensure your payment details are up to date in your billing settings.
