Requirements
⭐️ Available on all plans
Wix's free Email Marketing plan includes a limited number of emails (currently 200). Each order uses one email from this quota, so if you process a high volume of orders you may need a paid Wix email plan to keep invitations sending.
Navigation 📍
Log into your REVIEWS.io Dashboard
Navigate to Integrations
Select BCC Dispatch Emails
Copy your BCC email address
Instructions ⚙️
Create the automation
In your Wix dashboard, click Automations in the left sidebar
Click + Create Automation
Click + Start from Scratch
Give your automation a name, e.g. REVIEWS.io Review Invitations
Set the trigger
Under Checkout & Orders, select Order placed
Add your BCC email address
Click + below the trigger and select Send an email
At the bottom of the sidebar, click Show additional settings
Click the Edit button in the Recipients section to open a popup
Under Recipients, untick Emails from trigger so your customers don't receive an extra email
Tick Contacts, click the dropdown and select + Create New
Add your REVIEWS.io BCC email address as a new contact and make sure it's selected
Click Apply
Set up the email content
Click Edit on the email template
Remove the placeholder content, leaving a single Text block
Click Add Personalized Content to open a popup allowing you to select data from the order
Add the following, one per line:
Name: Billing first name
Email: Buyer email
Order number: Order number
Collecting product reviews?
Add product details as well:
Add a new Text block below the first one
Under Repeated content, click Connect Datalist and choose Ordered items
Using + Add Datalist Value, add:
Product: Ordered item name
SKU: Ordered item SKU
Leave Limit number of items set to No limit so every product in the order is included
Your Wix product SKUs must match the SKUs in your REVIEWS.io product catalogue for product review invitations to be matched correctly.
Click Apply, then Save & Continue
Send a test and contact support
Click Save, then Test. This sends a sample order email to your BCC address.
Contact our support team through Live Chat and let us know you've sent a test from Wix. We'll finish setting up your BCC integration on our side.
Once we've confirmed setup is complete, click Activate on your automation.
Review invitations will start queuing from new orders once setup is complete. You can see them in your Invitation History in your REVIEWS.io dashboard.
