This facility is used for any customer not using one of the popular eCommerce platforms for which REVIEWS.io does not have an automated module or app.
Most eCommerce platforms work out of the box as REVIEWS.io has modules and apps available. If you are using a custom solution or a platform not listed below you'll need to set up BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) emails.

Instructions
These work by BCC copying a REVIEWS.io email address into your order confirmation emails to your customer. We extract the relevant information (customer name, email and order ID) and use this to automatically send Review Invitation emails to your customer.
BCC Email Integration
1️⃣ Create Review Email Template
Follow the instructions to create a review email invitation template in your dashboard, which you will use to send Review invitations to your customers.
2️⃣ Amend Order Confirmation Emails
In your eCommerce platform Order Confirmation Email, add the following dynamic data:
Please note: To correctly implement BCC Emails, at least your order confirmation emails must include the customer's Name, Email Address and Order ID. The most reliable way of including this is as below. It's recommended that you also include the product SKU if you intend to collect product reviews 👇

BCC also supports queue-specific email templates. The details will be:

The above is dependent on the review type you are collecting!
Important: If you are using a combined template, you would also need to use: product_email_template_id
If you don't specify a template, then our system will automatically choose one of your active templates. If you're using the flow, you do not need to activate any of the templates!
Your developer will be able to find the template ID number by navigating to your [email templates] and [instructions] Tab! 👇
3️⃣ Add your REVIEWS.io BCC email address
In REVIEWS.io, navigate to Integrations >> BCC Dispatch Emails
Copy your company's BCC email address from that page
Add this email address in your Order Confirmation Emails to your customers
Please note: Your BCC email address takes the form of [your-store-id-here]@b2b.reviews.io
Once REVIEWS.io starts to receive BCC Emails from you, we'll automatically use them to send the custom email invitation template which you have set up on your behalf.
