Review Import Requirements

Ensure you meet the requirements to import your existing reviews from other review platforms

Written by Mollie Herbert

Eligibility checklist

  • Plan: Start-Up plan or above required. Shopify Free is not eligible.

  • Time limit: Imports are available within the first 90 days of your REVIEWS.io account only.

  • One import per review type: You can request one import each for product reviews, company reviews, and Q&A.

Don’t meet the requirements with your current plan? Upgrade now to get access.

If you have both product and company reviews, submit them in separate files with clear labels.

📁 File size limit: Files are capped at 100MB. There's no row-count cap, but files above roughly 15,000 rows risk stalling.

Platforms we cannot import from

The following are not supported for direct import:

  • Delighted

  • Google reviews

  • Manually collected reviews (reviews not gathered through a trusted third-party platform)

Reviews accessible via the Reputation Manager Bolt-On (e.g. Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor) cannot be imported directly — use the Reputation Manager tool to bring those in instead.

Note: We cannot import Google reviews or certain other third-party review types due to platform restrictions. However, REVIEWS.io supports integrations with various review networks and local review tools via our Local Reviews Bolt-On.
