Introduction 📖

This feature allows you to connect multiple Shopify accounts to ensure events are pushed only to the correct Bloomreach project, not mixed across stores.

Requirements

🌟 Available on Start-Up, Grow, and Plus

Instructions

Step 1: Confirm Shopify Accounts Are Connected

  1. Navigate to Integrations → Shopify.

  2. Confirm all required Shopify stores are:

    • Installed

    • Active

    • Displaying the correct store URL

If a Shopify store is missing, install it before proceeding.

Step 2: Open Bloomreach Integration Settings

  1. Go to Integrations → Bloomreach.

  2. Locate the Bloomreach project you want to configure.

  3. open Options.

Step 3: Enable Shopify Account Mapping

  1. Locate the option:

“Select Shopify account to push events”

  2. Toggle it ON.

This activates store-specific routing.

Step 4: Select the Correct Shopify Account

  1. A dropdown will appear.

  2. Select the Shopify account that should send data to this Bloomreach project.

  3. Save the changes.

This mapping means:

  • Only events associated with that Shopify account will be pushed to this Bloomreach project

Step 5: Repeat for Other Bloomreach Projects (If Applicable)

If your account has:

  • Multiple Shopify stores

  • Multiple Bloomreach projects

You must repeat the process to ensure each project is mapped individually

How the System Works

When a review or survey event occurs:

  1. The system identifies which Shopify store the order belongs to.

  2. It checks which Bloomreach project is mapped to that store.

  3. The event is sent only to the matching Bloomreach project.

  4. It will NOT be sent to other Bloomreach projects.

If mapping is not enabled:

  • Events may default to the fallback Bloomreach project.
