REVIEWS.io does not send a confirmation email when you cancel. This is expected — it does not mean something went wrong.
Once you submit the cancellation form, your request is processed automatically. To confirm it went through, check your Subscription settings page.
Step 1: Check your Subscription settings page
Go directly to dash.reviews.io/subscription, or navigate via Account → Settings → Subscription in your dashboard.
[VERIFY BEFORE PUBLISHING] Check what the page shows. After a successful cancellation, the status should indicate your cancellation is confirmed — for example, it may show a scheduled end date or a note that your plan will not renew. Please confirm the exact wording shown on this page and update this step accordingly.
If the page still shows your current plan as active, this is normal during the 30-day notice period (see below). It does not mean the cancellation failed.
Understanding the 30-day notice period
All cancellations on REVIEWS.io require 30 days' notice. Here's what that means in practice:
Your account stays active for the full 30-day notice period after you cancel. You'll continue to have access to all your plan features until the period ends.
One final payment may be charged if a monthly payment date falls within the 30-day notice period. This is your last charge.
After the notice period ends, your subscription closes. Widgets stop displaying reviews on your site, and review invitations stop sending.
Seeing your plan listed as active or being charged once more after cancelling does not mean your cancellation failed — it reflects the 30-day notice period working as expected.
Your data after cancellation
Once your subscription ends:
Your reviews are not deleted. All reviews you've collected remain tied to your account.
Widgets stop displaying on your site once the subscription ends.
You can still log in to your account, but premium features (such as replying to reviews) require an active plan.
Past invoices remain accessible at any time via Settings → Billing.
