Here's a quick guide to get up and running with review collection with your REVIEWS.io account right away!
Step 1 - Create an On Brand Email Template
You'll first need an email template in order to begin collecting reviews. You have a couple of choices pending on your goals:
Company Review Request (Great if you are using Google AdWords).
Product Review Request (Great for Google Shopping and Organic Stars on product pages).
Combined Review Request (Ask for a company review first and then a product review in the one email if you are looking to collect both).
Local Review Request (For asking for reviews on any third party sites you may have integrated).
Amazon Review Request (For asking for review requests from your Amazon store).
Follow the link below for instructions to create your email templates.
Note: Please be sure to switch the template to ACTIVE for the automation to begin once you have integrated your website in the following step.
Step 2: Connect your Integrations
Our integrations are available under the Integrations tab on your dashboard.
If you're running an off the shelf e-commerce like Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce or any others we directly integrate with, head to our Getting Started documentation and select your Ecommerce platform guide.
If you are using a platform that we don't directly integrate with, to automate your review collection you will need to use one of the following methods:
Dynamic Link (Send review emails from your own email platform)
BCC Integration (Bcc us into your order confirmation/shipping email)
API Integration (Queue invites through our API)
Review Booster (Upload CSV of contacts and do campaign email sending)
For eCommerce platforms we don't support, you will need to add a product feed to collect product reviews. This can be achieved with one of the following methods:
Google Shopping Feed (Connect Google Shopping)
Custom CSV/XLM Feed (Upload a feed directly)
Manual Feed (Add products manually)
3. Set your Timezone
Navigate to Invitations >> Country Settings.
Click on the Timezone drop down and select the most suitable timezone for you Business
Hit 'Save Timezone' to ensure that the system remembers this
4. Design your collector Page
When you customer clicks the 'Write a Review' button on your email templates, they are directed to a landing page where you can add customisation to suit your brand.
Navigate to Collection >> Collector Page.
Firstly, you will want to design your collector page to match your brand guidelines.

5. Automating reviews through Flow
Now you have setup a review template, and designed your review collection page, you will want to create a sequence to collect your reviews that is styled to your brand.
Our Flow feature allows you to completely customise the experience based on how you want to collect your reviews. Use the guide below to setup your flow experience.
6. Set Your Account Details
In order to set your account up correctly, you will need to add your correct account details via the Account Details section.
Once you have completed the above 5 steps, you are all set to begin your review collection!
Some other functionalities that you may want to consider setting up are:
