To start collecting reviews on REVIEWS.io, you'll need to create a paid business account. This guide walks you through the sign-up process from start to finish.
Note: REVIEWS.io does not offer a free plan for direct sign-ups. The only free option is a limited plan available exclusively to Shopify merchants via the Shopify App Store (25 review invites/month). All other accounts require a paid subscription.
Step 1 — Choose a plan
Visit the REVIEWS.io pricing page to compare available plans and find one that suits your business. Plans available include:
Essentials — best for businesses just starting to collect reviews
Start-Up — ideal for stores wanting to grow and improve SEO and marketing
Grow — for scaling eCommerce brands focused on marketing and conversion
Plus — for larger brands with multiple stores or heavy customisation needs
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial, so you can explore the platform before committing.
Step 2 — Sign up
Once you've selected a plan, click Get Started on the pricing page. You'll be asked to provide:
Your company name — the name of the business you want to register
Your website domain — the URL of your live business website
A business domain email address — e.g. name@yourcompany.com. Free email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) are not accepted
Important: Your website must be live and publicly accessible before your account can be activated. If your site is still under development, hold off on signing up until it is live.
Step 3 — Verify your account
After submitting your details, REVIEWS.io will send a verification email to your business domain address. To complete verification:
Check your inbox for an email from REVIEWS.io and click the activation link.
If the email hasn't arrived within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
Once verified, set your password and log in at dash.reviews.io/login.
If your account hasn't been activated after 24 hours, contact support via live chat with your company name and domain — the team can activate it manually.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for a REVIEWS.io account, your business must comply with REVIEWS.io's Terms & Conditions. The following business types are not eligible and will have their accounts deactivated:
Forex / Stock / Crypto / Brokerage Services
Essay Writing Services
Gaming Boosting Services
Dating & adult services
Research Chemicals
Unapproved Pharmaceuticals
Shopify users
If your store runs on Shopify, you can install REVIEWS.io directly from the Shopify App Store. This gives you access to the free plan (25 review invites/month) or any paid plan, and lets you log in to your dashboard directly via the Shopify Apps section — no separate login required.
